As an interior designer, sometimes pushing the limit and taking the extra step is how you layer a project. When you “gild the lily” by adding a layer of trim to your fabric, you get the sense that someone has made this space a home. Adding this layer of trim is equivalent to adding a level of personalization and makes the project so much more bespoke.
